Caitlin Ehret

Caitlin first joined NewYork-Presbyterian in 2012 as a new graduate nurse working in the neonatal ICU, eventually earning her RNC-NIC specialty certification and becoming a preceptor. After several years she moved into a role with Columbia University as the NICU research nurse while she completed a master’s degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner. In 2022, Caitlin returned to NYP as a Quality and Patient Safety Specialist for Komansky Children’s Hospital after personal experiences in the healthcare system created a desire to improve our systems, and recently earned her C-ONQS certification.
