Pamela Jones

Pam has been a nurse since 1983, working at several hospitals in North Carolina and New Jersey, including as a Visiting Nurse prior to moving to New York. Pam joined the AMC team in 2001 working as a nurse in infectious disease and then transferring to the Heart Transplant Unit, which then transitioned to a Vascular Intensive Care Unit. While working on her Master’s degree, Pam made the transition to Quality in 2014 working as a Quality Specialist/Quality Specialist Supervisor. In 2019, she led the hospital through its triennial Joint Commission Survey and in 2021 was invited to join the Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital as the Children’s Hospital Quality Nurse Manager, a position created to support BMDCH’s membership in SPS. Pam loves working in quality and is committed to always leading with the WHY of any quality work.
