Dinah Thomas, MHA
Dinah Thomas is the Quality Improvement Project Coordinator for children's services at NYU Langone Hospital- Long Island. She completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at SUNY Binghamton and continued her post-graduate education at Hofstra University in Long Island with a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration.
She is certified through the LEAN Greenbelt training program, and she is a member of the Hofstra University's Future Healthcare Leaders (FHL) Association, as well as the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
Dinah is actively engaged with the Patient and Family Advisory Council at NYU Langone Hospital- Long Island and serves as the main liaison for patient and family engagement initiatives. She is an active member within the national collaboration of Children's Hospitals Solutions for Patient Safety (CHSPS) and participates under their national leadership of QI and regional New York State (NYS) groups for Central-Line-Associated Blood Stream Infections (CLABSI) and Family Engagement. She is involved with organization-wide projects for the department of Pediatrics and represents as the main project manager for process and quality improvement activities and data submission.
