Kathleen Deakins

Kathy is the Clinical Manager of the Pediatric Respiratory Care department at UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field most of it spent in neonatal and pediatric care. Her Respiratory Care interests include airway clearance, prevention of unplanned extubations and pediatric innovation and research. She has many publications related to respiratory care and resides on the Editorial board of the Respiratory Care Journal.
