Jen Ormsby

Jennifer Ormsby is the Director of Infection Prevention & Control at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her career began as a bedside pediatric nurse for 15 years caring for intestinal failure, transplant and surgical patients. She then transitioned to infection prevention after co-leading a quality improvement initiative to prevent CLABSI in the intestinal failure population. Her passion is to prevent all infections for all patients, parents and staff. She has participated in the SPS work on pediatric colon SSI prevention, the SPS Infection Prevention Advisory Group and now with the ambulatory CLABSI group.
