SPS In-Person Board Training – Fall 2025

Participants will benefit from a variety of learning formats such as small and large group discussion, focused round-robin sessions, case studies, and others. The agenda topics will be organized around the SPS Board Behaviors for Safety to include:

• Establishing and Achieving Strategic Goals
• Build Foundational Board Safety Knowledge and Core Competencies
• Maintain Relentless Focus on Culture of Safety
• Build Awareness and Assure Analysis of Potential and Actual Serious Harm Events
• Maintain Visible and Vocal Engagement in Safety

Who should attend:

Hospitals should send Hospital Board Members/Board Chair, and their Quality & Safety Committee. CEOs/senior leaders that regularly interact with Board Members would also benefit.
