SPS is excited to welcome you to our Fall Virtual National Learning Session! This session will focus on introducing our new 2022-2024 goals and strategic priorities with deep dives into our new work streams, Safety Disparities and Ambulatory Safety. All sessions will focus on the below learning objectives. For an overview of the two days, please review the high-level agenda.

Learning Objectives

  • Examine best practices and behaviors of effective leaders, safety coaches and microsystem staff within the safety team in reducing harm and promoting safety culture for patients and employees
  • Identify network opportunities in new and emerging safety efforts
  • Explain network priorities for 2022 - 2024

Who Should Attend

All members of SPS hospitals are welcome to attend. SPS is not limiting the number of attendees from each hospital. Each individual planning to attend (even those who may only attend one session) must create a Digitell account and register themselves. Below is a list of roles to consider attending from each hospital.

  • Ambulatory Leaders and Staff focused on safety (NEW!)
  • CEOs/Top Pediatric Leaders
  • Clinical Unit Staff/Safety Coaches
  • Employee/Staff Safety (ESS) Champions/Leaders
  • Hospital Acquired Condition (HAC) Champions/Leaders (especially those for CLABSI, PI and UE)
  • Hospital Microsystem Leaders
  • Quality and Safety Leaders

Customizing Your Schedule 

Take a peek at the "Live Sessions" tab on the virtual event platform to see what's in store. Start planning your personalized itinerary by selecting sessions you plan to participate in by using the "My Itinerary" tab. This is especially useful to identify which sessions you want to attend that are running concurrently. 

Launch a Session 

Each session opens 15 minutes prior to the start time. To access any session, click the "Live Sessions" tab and select the "Attend Session" button with the desired session.

System Compatibility Checker

Before attending the online conference, first click on the "System Checker" tab on the event page. This will ensure your system is compatible with the live broadcasting platform.
