
Theresa He

Dr. Theresa He graduated from Harvard College with magna cum laude in Economics and spent a year teaching at an International Baccalaureate boarding school in Switzerland before starting her medical profession. She received her MD degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric residency and Chief residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She joined Advocate Health in 2007 as a Pediatric Hospitalist providing clinical inpatient care in tertiary and community-based Advocate Health locations throughout Chicagoland.
Her administrative roles included serving as Associate Program Director for the Pediatric residency program, as teacher and mentor for young physicians at the start of their career. As the Inpatient Unit Medical Director and Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division Director, she was involved in day-to-day operations of the General Pediatrics unit. In her current role as Vice President of Quality and Safety for Advocate Children’s Hospital, Dr. He leads teams and programs to ensure the highest quality and safest care to patients and families on a system-level. She is actively involved in national organizations focused on quality improvement and delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care to Pediatric patients and families.
