Stephen Hoang

Stephen Hoang is a pediatric anesthesiologist practicing at Children's Health System of Texas in Dallas, TX. He has previously served as fellowship program director and education director for UT Southwestern and Children's, and as a question author for the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has also served on the Regional Advisory Committee for Texas Medicaid and CHIP.

Dr. Hoang’s interests include patient safety and quality, patient advocacy, and education. His advocacy work includes legislative, regulatory, insurance, and medical staff issues to ensure equitable, safe, and quality care for all children. He has previously served as President of the Medical/Dental staff at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, the main flagship hospital of Children’s Health. He currently serves as a Medication Safety Officer for Children’s Health and is an adjunct associate professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
