Sarah Cutler
The Hospital for Sick Children
After graduating with degrees in biochemistry and nursing, Sarah Cutler began her career at Sickkids in Toronto in 2003. During her 10 years as a Critical Care nurse, she focused on patient safety and was a member of the quality team responsible for HAC bundle development and implementation, and safety report follow-up. She then moved to Quality Management where she led the configuration and implementation of the hospital’s safety reporting system. Most recently Sarah received a Masters of Health Science in Health Administration from the University of Toronto. Currently she works in Central Quality overseeing components of the Caring Safely Program including leading the Safety Coach Program and the Good Catch Program. Sarah is passionate about team dynamics, safety and how leadership can positively influence organizational safety culture.
