Dr. Sandeep Tripathi, MD, MS, FCCM is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a pediatric intensivist at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. He has over 20 years of clinical experience and a decade of leadership in healthcare quality and patient safety. Dr. Tripathi holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Jefferson College of Population Health and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and an ASQ-certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has led numerous QI initiatives in critical care settings, with a focus on reducing patient harm, optimizing clinical workflows, and advancing safety culture. His academic work bridges clinical research with data-driven quality improvement. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles on various aspects of critical care and patient safety.
