Patrick O'Hare

I have spent the entirety of my nursing career in pediatrics, starting in Peds Hem/Onc at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. I later moved home to Los Angeles and began a position in the PICU at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. During my time at UCLA Mattel Children’s, I have been a part of the Emerging Infectious Disease Team (i.e., Ebola Team), trained and mentored new graduate RNs, and participated in several quality improvement projects including a L.E.A.N. Initiative and New Knowledge & Innovation Council. I am currently the Clinical Nurse Manager of 5W Pediatrics at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, and my current areas of focus include the successful creation of a pediatric step-down unit and facilitating nurses to excel both clinically and professionally.
