Melanie Blackburn

Melanie Blackburn, MD, MHA, FAAP, FHM. Dr. Blackburn is an Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and pediatric hospitalist at Prisma Health Children's Hospital-Midlands in Columbia, SC. She also serves as the medical director of quality at the midlands children's hospital as well as the quality officer for the Prisma Children's Service Line. She has been honored to serve as one of the South Region SPS Champions for the last two years. Dr. Blackburn lives in Blythewood, SC with her husband, Brad, and four children.
