Katie Farrell

Kathryn Farrell has been a pediatric nurse for 14 years. As a graduate from the University of Central Florida, she holds a master’s degree in nursing leadership and management, and national certifications in pediatric and surgical nursing. Katie has worked at Nemours Children’s Health in Orlando, Florida for the past 11 years, serving in surgical, quality and nursing leadership roles. She is currently the interim director of the Cardiac ICU. Katie has a passion for harm prevention, specifically surgical site infections. She enjoys working with front-line staff and surgeons to improve quality care and reduce harm in the pediatric population.
