Kate Brant serves as the sole Patient Safety Specialist for the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. She leads teams to apply practical safety and reliability principles by harnessing lived clinical experience as a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, coupled with her honed project and change management skills. Kate is an Armstrong Institute Leadership Academy Scholar and a Certified Professional in Patient Safety. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy and a Master of Business Administration, both from Maryland-based schools. Kate blends clinical acumen with strategic safety influence to create a safer care environment for all patients and staff.
