Julia Martorana

Julia Martorana is a driven quality & safety leader at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, with a background in teaching, Level 1 trauma emergency nursing, and consulting. She has had the privilege of working at two SPS children’s hospitals in quality and safety and has worked closely with dedicated teams of leaders at every level to drive highly reliable improvement work through a safety lens. Julia is a fierce advocate for employee safety and aims to ensure that those in one of the most selfless professions get the attention they also deserve. Last year, Julia graduated with her master’s in healthcare quality & safety from Northwestern University and considers herself a lifelong learner.
