Jodi Simon

Jodi Simon is the Director of Quality Services at Akron Children's Hospital in NE Ohio. She is trained in Quality Improvement Science (IHI), Reliability Science, Systems Engineering Initiatives for Patient Safety and most recently in Teaching and Assessing Critical Thinking (TACT). She enjoys working on strategic planning, Care Transformation, Equity and resident/fellow education. Her passion lies in developing and leading highly reliable teams as well as teaching QI methodology. Jodi was part of the founding team for SPS and continues to teach Error Prevention and Leadership Methods for the SPS Wave hospitals. She co-leads the SPS Situation Awareness work for the Ohio Hospitals.
