DNP prepared Registered Nurse (RN) with over 40 years experience, certified in Critical Care and Clinical Nurse Leader. Has served the Neonatal population for over 27 years. Devoted to improving professional practice. Uses evidence based guidelines and research to guide my own practice and to share that wealth of knowledge with my colleagues. Involved with coordination of plan from admission to discharge in collaboration with family and the multidisciplinary team. Expert in all aspects of the nursing process, mentors others while acting as a resource to all. Develops new, improved evidence based standards of care. Participates in nursing based research related to practice areas. Demonstrates ability to lead a team to impact quality outcomes and provide safe and comprehensive patient care as evidenced by unit based core-measured results.
