Dr. Amy Jones is a board-certified nurse executive (NE-BC) with 20 years of experience in the pediatric acute care setting including a clinical background caring for critically ill pediatric patients. She has worked in several top ranked, renowned institutions and has led a myriad of teams comprising inpatient services such as Hematology/Oncology, Float Pool and Critical Care Units, support services such as Vascular Access, Pulmonary Care, Social Work, and Pastoral Care, and business services such as Admitting, Staffing Office, and Case Management.
She obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Old Dominion University in Norfolk Virginia, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from New York Medical College, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh New York. Her distinguished efforts to ensure safe patient care environments remains profoundly notable through the development and implementation of a standardized Hospital Acquired Condition Program, the development of a Comprehensive Autism Program and the positive impact of a workforce stabilization program creatively balancing staffing coverage to census demands.
